Alternative Rock/ Christian?

Most older people tend to think that if a band isn't evangelical, then they are not Christian. This is not true. All 3 members of Chevelle are Christian, and actually were signed with a Christian record label when they just started playing music. The lead singer of Saliva is also Christian, and even references God in some of his songs (ex. judgement day). And of course, there are plenty of openly Christian bands such as Underoath, Flyleaf, Skillet, etc. Lots of music is also open to interpretation. I suggest looking up song lyrics and if you have any CDs look in the cover book where the artists give thanks. You will be surprised to see how many recognize and thank God.
